These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by DS Group (GSTIN 29CEXPR2820A1Z9, PAN CEXPR2820A) ("DS Group", "we", "our", or "us"), including FSSAI Basic / State / Central licence application filing services delivered through our website and client portal. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services we provide

DS Group is an independent business consultancy. We assist you with the preparation, documentation review and online filing of your FSSAI application with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FoSCoS portal). We are not a government bodyand we cannot guarantee approval, which rests solely with the FSSAI authority. We do not charge any government statutory fee on top of the displayed service fee unless explicitly stated.

2. Client obligations

• Provide accurate, complete and lawful information and documents (Aadhaar, PAN, photograph, business proof, etc.).
• Ensure all uploaded PDFs are clear, legible, and belong to you or your business.
• Respond promptly to any "documents required" request from our team — delays from your side may extend processing time.
• Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Pay the displayed service fee in full at the time of order submission via Razorpay.

3. Fees, GST & invoicing

All prices displayed include GST at 18% (CGST 9% + SGST 9%) and are inclusive of our service fee. A GST-compliant Tax Invoice (downloadable as PDF from your dashboard) is issued immediately upon payment capture. Payment is processed by Razorpay under their own terms and RBI regulations.

5. Refund policy

• Before document submission to FSSAI: you may cancel and receive a refund of 70% of the paid amount (30% retained towards consultation, document review and payment-gateway charges).
• After ARN is generated (status: "Submitted to FSSAI"): no refund is payable, as our service has been substantially performed and government processing has begun.
• Application rejected by FSSAI for reasons attributable to incorrect documents supplied by you: no refund. We will, however, assist with one free re-submission if the rejection ground is curable.
• Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

6. Processing timelines

Indicative timelines (subject to FSSAI authority workload and document completeness): Basic — 7 to 15 working days; State — 30 to 45 working days; Central — 45 to 60 working days. These are estimates, not guarantees.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to the service fee actually paid by you for the specific order in question. We are not liable for (a) the FSSAI authority's decision to approve, reject or delay your application; (b) consequential, indirect or loss-of-profit damages; or (c) inaccurate information supplied by you.

8. Intellectual property

The website design, branding, content and software are the intellectual property of DS Group. You retain ownership of documents you upload; you grant us a limited licence to use them solely to deliver the contracted service.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit forged, stolen or impersonated documents;
• Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or interfere with the platform.

10. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or any applicable law. On termination, you remain liable for fees already incurred, and we retain documents per the retention period stated in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
